Leather

Leather has become a major material in clothing recently. I do not mean the heavy real leather, like leather jackets that you would normally
picture, they are very expensive. I mean fo-leather; it is very affordable and extremely modern. This season the rocker look is trending! You will be seeing a lot of black and white, and interesting materials. I think leather shirts are probably one of the coolest things out there at the moment. Not necessarily a shirt all covered in leather, but more a shirt that has clever placings of leather on it. It can look almost innocent but add some rocking gray jeans, and black combat boots, and you can look like a bad-ass. This look can totally boost your self-esteem, and make you feel confident and cool. Leather dresses are so amazingly genius. Even to a fancier event or a causal party, leather dresses could add personality and give you the extra attention you are looking for! I think if you add leather to any part of your outfit it will make you be noticed and give you an edge.

Ombré

The problem with me is I get bored of my hair very quickly. So I decided to let it grow and try this new summer trend that I love so much. I recently dyed my hair ombré, and I love it! If you are worried about ruining your hair but love ombré and want to try this, don't worry. If an experienced person is bleaching your hair and paying attention while they are doing it, your hair should not get destroyed. Depending on how dark your hair is that is what decides how much bleach you need. They have to use bleach and use two different shades of dye. This didn't necessarily hurt my hair it just changed it a bit. Now my hair is a bit more dry and wavy-ish. I don't think this is only from my ombré though, my hair was already changing a little before I dyed it. Hair changes every five to seven years because of hormonal change. Ombré is colors that shade into each other graduated from dark to light. Generally ombré is done on brunettes. It doesn't normally show up very clear on blondes because then it would just be light to lighter. When you come to your colorist to dye your hair be prepared and have done the research. Come with pictures to show because there are many different ways ombré can be done. If your hair is all dried and done but you are not happy with the color, either its too dark or too light, don't be afraid to tell them. They should understand and try to fix it. This is what happened to me but now I am very happy with it. I know many people also try doing their own ombré. I do not recommend this because everyone I know who tried it was not 100% satisfied.  I also personally wouldn't trust myself with this. I hope if you do decided to ombré your hair, you end up loving it as much as I love mine.

Airport Fashion

So its spring break and I bet a lot of you are leaving to place's. Layering is the most important part of your wardrobe when you travel. On the airplane there can be very extreme temperature ranges, one second it will be freezing and you need your warm sweater and the next second you can be burning and need to be in your tank top. Normally when i'm on the plane I wear a tank-top, a comfy t-shirt and a big sweater. These layers will give you a variety of choices of comfort. For pants I normally like wearing leggings because this is my most comfy pant. STYLE TIP: never ever wear clothes you like on a plane. Way too many things could go wrong, plus for sure they will get all wrinkled. For shoes, you need very easy to side on and take off type of shoes. You also need to be able to walk a lot in them. Normally I wear my uggs in the winter and my flip flops in the summer. A little tip if you wear flip flops on the plane always bring socks in your carry on, this will just make your airplane life a lot easier. I hope that you will use these tips the next time you go on a plane.

Key Pieces

I think having a few key pieces in your wardrobe is very important. These are your pieces of clothing that are super versatile. You can dress these pieces up and you can dress them down depending on the occasion. I think having at least one great pair of fitting jeans is important. You can do so many things with a nice pair of jeans. A little black dress is essential in your wardrobe. There are so many different types from a-line to fitted. You can dress this piece up by wear stilettos. You can also dress the LBD down by wearing flats and a cardigan or blazer. I also believe that every girl needs a cute cardigan or blazer, if it is for on top of a dress to keep you warm when you are going out. Or you can pair them with a simple t-shirt and jeans. A great winter coat is also important. Anyone could throw on a bold coat and look amazing. A coat is great because you can put it over anything and look and feel fashionable and functional. A maxi dress should also definitely be somewhere in your wardrobe because it is one of the most functional summer pieces. If I don't know what to wear on a summer day I put on a maxi dress, it is for sure one of my go-to pieces. Having black heels is very important and so extremely versatile! The right pair of black heels can be dressed down for a day time work attire with some skinny jeans. They can also be dressed up for a night out with you little black dress. I believe that every girl should have at least these key pieces in your closet, I do and many of these are definitely my go-to pieces when I don't know what to wear.

Scarf

Its winter, your neck is cold and you don't want to ruin your outfit by wearing an ugly winter scarf. But, there are some truly beautiful scarves that will do anything opposite from ruining your outfit. It can many times add so much. One simple scarf can make the world of a difference in your cute and stylish winter outfit. There are so many different types of scarves. My total utter most favorite type of scarf is the infinity scarf! The infinity scarf is a scarf that is one piece. They are generally longer so you have to wrap it around, once, twice, or three times... Wrap the scarf as many times as you need until you think it fits perfectly. After you wrap it, it is not supposed to be too tight or to loose. You are probably asking yourself why are these scarves so perfect? Infinity scarves are so warm and so extremely stylish. There is also the regular scarves. Many of them have fringe at the end. Fringe on scarves are very cute and make any regular scarf just one level up! Regular scarves have so many patterns to choose from that can go with literally every outfit. Please next time its cold don't doubt and grab a scarf.

Beanies

Do you want to keep your ears warm this winter but still look stylish? Of course you do! I think the simplest solution would be a hat. In the winter a cute hat doesn't only need to be for outdoors to keep your ears warm. But it can also be a cute winter hairstyle for any time of day. I'm sure you're thinking to yourself "winter hats are so boring!" Well have you ever thought of a beanie as a winter hat. Beanies are extremely stylish and extremely in style right now. What I love about beanies is that there are so many different types there is always one that is perfect for you. There are so many different colors, different styles. They have ones with pom poms on the end ones without pom poms. Beanies are just so much fun. They are cool and versatile. Some beanies even have fleece inside of them which can many times be even warmer then a regular old hat. Beanies are not only for skaters and snow boarders. Some beanies can also be chic, for instance imagine a white beanie with a knitted design I personally think that is very chic. My favorite brand for beanies is Burton, their beanies I think are some of the best! But there are many extremely cute beanies in a lot of other stores and brands. I hope that next time its winter and you don't know what to do with your hair you think back to this post and put on a cute beanie.

Boots

Its becoming winter and the biggest winter accessories is, boots! There are so many different types of boots how do you know which to get? I'm here to help. Lets start off with a more classic style of boots, the riding boots. Even if you may not think looking chic and classy is your type of shoe you should look into it. Riding boots are tall simple boots which are very versatile. They can go which pretty much every outfit you can imagine. Also I am sure you have seen the combat boots. They are extremely in style right now. Yes you might think that combat boots are a little hard core and a little rocker. That may be true in some combat boots but in others, they can be cool and some can even be classy. If you want to buy combat shoes but are afraid of having to much of a rocker look or maybe you just don't want to blend in with every body else. You should try a different color than black, you could try grey or even brown! I think brown combat boots is a major trend setter it sets yours apart from all the other black over used combat boots. If your not classy or rocker then you want shoes that are in between riding boots and combat boots somewhere in the middle of, classy as riding boots and rocker from combat boots. Minnetonka is definitely your path to take when it comes up to boots! Minnetonkas are native american fringed boots. This is a style that I call Indie, they are very into the latest fashion but don't dress the same as everyone else. I hope I was able to help you decide which style of boot you are!
